Love the bag to carry everyday stuff, camera and food. There is a bit of a rattling sound, especially during gravel rides

Very functional to use while riding. Place stuff in or take things out when in motion.
Love the outside pockets too.

I love the well thought out design of this bag. It is well constructed. The only thing I would change, would be to enlarge the dimensions by two inches all round. It’s a great handlebar bag.

Hi there - I like the Handlebar bag very much, it is well manufactured and the materials and the whole thing looks and feels great, good quality, nice. The only thing that I do not like: When the Bag is not fully loaded, the lid clatters with every small bump in the road. I can stuff it with things, so that it is overloaded, well, then the lid sits firmly and does not move a millimeter. But I do not want to do this every ride-time. That is why I rate it with 4 stars instead of 5.

핸들바 스터프를 제외하면 모든것이 완벽했고 생각대로였다.

Receiving this bag was a long time coming! I missed the initial wave and had to wait as the global supply chain continued to make things "weird." My initial impression was that the bag is well-built and refined. The handlebar clamp and bag locking mechanism are stout but lack proper instructions. I had to tinker a bit and figure out that the bag clamp can be adjusted with an Allen key (maybe this is outlined somewhere?)- as the bag was bouncing around when first clamped down.
The elastic straps running on top (with attached storage inside) are a nice touch for added storage and quick access. My only note on this feature is the small enclosure on the underside of the lid bounces and causes the elastic straps to "slap" the lid. The noise isn't horrible just sounds a bit janky, which is a bummer because this bag is otherwise solid and far from poor quality. I temporarily resolved this issue by slipping a sweatband between the small pouch and the underside of the lid. For the price point, it'd be nice to have some buffeting built into the underside of the lid.
I've had no issues with the attachments, like the Garmin mount and side light post. Everything bolted down smoothly (once I realized the notch for the light mount) and has been hassle-free for the past 500 miles. It'd be rad to see a larger "rando" version of this bag with greater carrying capacity in the future. I'd certainly recommend this to a fellow cyclist!

Perfection! Nicely build, great solution to mount your bike comp, front light and/or even bell with those additional nubs while still able to carry ride essential stuffs and some more
*sprayed the bag with one of those sneakers water/stain repellent to add some resistancy when raining, still looking forward to see how it works

Very happy with the features and build quality. I expect this bag to last many many years. The extra weight is really not very noticeable on the bike. Really like instant access to anything. Always hated digging things out of my jersey pockets and saddle bag. No more! One minor improvement to note. I discovered a minor rattle coming from the bag lid. Took a while to find and it was my Wahoo Bolt bike computer. I added a small square of velcro felt to the barfly adapter on the lid and that tightened the interface up nicely. To be fair, my Bolt has a bit of play in all my bike mounts. So it's not a design issue. The lid just amplifies the rattle a bit. Love this handlebar bag and I think it's a great value for the money :)

I waited a couple of months for this bag but am very happy with the fit & finish of the whole package. I had to get some install help from my LBS but they were generous with their time & skill. I love the hard top, the top mount for my bike computer and all the little pockets. I feel like it is a secure place to keep my phone (unlike my handlebar case/mount)easy to reach when I stop to take a photo. The bag snaps off easily and the integral strap is handy. I am glad I made the purchase because it suits my needs very well.

I love the well thought out design and craftsmanship of this bag made with quality materials. However, I would like the bag to be a bit larger by adding an other two inches to all of the dimensions and the the lid be made with a material that is shatter proof. My bag had fallen to the ground while attached to the bike. The frame was slightly bent and the lid shattered. The frame was very difficult to straighten out, I could only bend it back into shape only so far. Thus, the lid still doesn't fit very well. I love this bag so much. I bought another. Too bad you ran out of the green bag.

The bag is fantastic. The quality of the material, the top cover and the metal bike mount is great. The top lifts effortlessly, the volume of the bag is just nice and the side pockets are just practical. Maybe the Routewerks team can improve the product further by placing some rubber or silicon on the metal surfaces of both bike mount and bag, to reduce the rattling/chatter when riding on uneven/rough surfaces.

Well, when I first got the bag, I was a little disappointed at its size. It seems small. However, it fits most everything that I should be carrying, like a repair kit, a spare hat, and some extra socks. The pockets inside the thing are extremely useful; for example, I tuck a spare CO2 cartridge in the top pocket. I’ve stuffed my sweater into the cords that crisscross the bag on top. I haven’t been in a rain yet (this is Northern California), but I’m optimistic. One suggestion is to make the quad lock on top slightly tilted to make it easier to see in a strong sun. I compared it to my Ortlieb bags and realized that they’re at least half empty. So, I’m declaring this bag to be a major success. It’s well thought out and works great.

I saw this on another guys bike at the start of the Solstice Gravel Grinder. Looked it up the next day, and didn't hesitate to order it, even though it seemed a bit pricey for a box to put my phone and a banana in. Holy crap was I wrong! I mean, yeah, it's expensive, but the function is RAD!!! I can pack so much crap in one spot, that's accessible while riding. So great!!!! I would only love it more if the lid/structure was a bit lighter. But seriously, it's great. Maybe a second version without all the bungees, lighter build would fit the sub 100mi gravel race crowd better.

The carrier is rock solid. The only thing that needs to be addressed is the rattle from the lid. I've added felt to this area and it's dampened the movement somewhat.

Bought into the Route Werks modular bar bag system as I wanted to de-stuff my jersey pockets but also to take various action cameras and accessories on my rides - hoping to get into a bit of filming.
The Route Werks system really appealed: liked the idea of being able to access my gear on the move due to hinged rigid lid, something not possible with most of the current l contemporary soft bar bags out at the moment. Indeed, I purchased one of those a few months ago and found it was difficult to get into the bag whilst stationary despite it having a full width zip. The “mouth” of the bag didn’t give very good access to the inside - it was actually easier to remove the bag from the bars via the Velcro straps, to get things out or into it - hardly convenient!
Everything is secure and although I experienced some initial minor rattles, these were resolved with tightening some of the hex bolts once I’d had a few rides using the bag.
The Route Werks out-front mount is great for days where I want to have my bike computer and action camera with me, but not the whole bag.
The whole range of items and accessories are exceptionally well built and secure. Should stand up to years of use.
Now I’ve trialled it and happy, I’ve ordered another bike mount for my other bike, for quickly and easily transferring the out front mount or bar bag.

Used it for the first time today on a 70 mile ride through the Colorado Rockies (Double Bypass). The bungees were really helpful (held my rain jacket and rain pants). The hinged top is great. It is easy to open while moving and I love all the compartments inside. My only observation is that it rattles. I think this is from the handlebar attachment. I wonder if there is a way to tighten that locking mechanism.
Great product so far.

Easy to install. Smartly designed. Functions well.

I have had the handlebar bag, with the handlebar stub and Garmin mount for several weeks not, I have used in on three rides for approximately 130 miles, including todays ride in a short rain storm. This bag is really great. It holds just enough gear to make my packing easy but not too large resulting in packing too much. It stayed dry in todays rain shower, and when the rain stopped it was large enough to hold my light weight rain jacket. My only criticism is that on rough roads the top tends to "chatter". I hold my hand on it and it stops.
Without hesitation I recommend all three of these products: handlebar bag, handlebar stub, Garmin mount.
Rafn S.
What a great bag. Icoud even mount my remote control for my drone on the bag while I let the drone follow me.
Julian O.
Great to have some more space on the handle bar. Easy but strong fixation and we'll build.

So excited to finally have and be using this bag! It's the perfect size that gives me enough clearance to grip my handlebars anywhere I want while also having enough storage for everything I need. I like the pockets for organization and the bungee cords that allow me to throw even more stuff on the bag. Been wanting a bag that's easy to remove and carry with me as well. This checks all of the boxes!

Very well designed and built.

Hope you can provide more mountings on the top. That's all. :)

It is a high quality product with nice features. For my primary use it is to small.

What's hot:
This bag is super neat. No obstruction above handle bar. The mount is super rugged. Capacity is right off the bat.
What's not:
The lid is rattling like a snake. I added foam tape but only helped a bit. I know that the latch needs some gap to work properly so, maybe, there will be a spring mechanism to keep the lid tight as well as having some gap when needed.

I bought this bag just in time for a 10 day, 400 mile bike tour of the Adirondacks. I was excited that it was back in stock just in time for the trip and it exceeded all my excited hopes!
I have large hands (for a woman) and was nervous about the clearance on the handlebars, but no issue there. All the pockets were perfect to keep little odds and ends organized for a long trip. And it was the apple of everyone’s eye on the tour!

This is my 2nd purchase of the handle bar bag. Loved it so much that when I got a 2nd bike, I bought another! What I like best about it is that it opens easily from the top and I can have access to my stuff while riding. I also like that it is sturdy, the capacity-it can hold quite a lot of things and it looks fabulous.
Benoit S.
Solid, easy to install and well made except with one little detail. If the road is rough (gravel) the cover of the bag makes a rattling noise that could be corrected with possibly a rubber. On pave surface the noise is almost non-existent. Also in the future, I would offer a bag with a bigger volume.
Dayson D.
Great bag, quality workmanship. I can adjust volume on my phone and take a drink of water while riding. Too bad its not built in the USA
Delfin O.
Awesome handlebar bag, my dream handlebar bag

Had to address the loose hinges but now there is no rattle. Love it and bought another mount so I can switch between bikes.

After watching all the YouTube reviews for six months, then purchasing my own, I can gladly say that the Routewerks BarBag is the most well thought out designed and manufactured bag on the market. The one problem I was looking for is solved by the owner, and that is tightening the grub screw for the quick release as most reviewers said they didn’t like the Lid rattling whilst riding. My bag makes No sounds when riding on rough road at all. I am absolutely thrilled with how simple it was to install, adjust and most importantly ride with. I absolutely look forward to riding my Deadly Treadly every day now due to the easy access and added space I now have. I plan on purchasing the bag in Black for my mountain bike just because of the quality and how damn cool they are. Thank you so much Routewerks for producing something so simple and effective. I’ve been waiting decades for this to come along.
